The reason I am not entirely convinced at this point whether or not it's a hardware issue with the new SSD drive, is that I dumped the most recent image back onto the original platter drive, and chose that drive from the boot menu (which still starts on the SSD drive), and when I got up this morning the computer was completely froze and I had a hard boot It. I also recently replaced the power supply and RAM when the system became unresponsive. ![]() The first one died after two months, the second after a year, the third (refurbished) died almost immediately, and I just installed the recent one within the last month or two. ![]() ![]() I'm still not certain if this is a hardware issue, because I am currently on my fourth SSD drive. I've also been having issues with my Acronis backup software which I've been working with them to solve. Also, I have not run any of my regular scans for a while. As you will see in the scan text that I have not yet upgraded this computer to SP3. First, the instructions say for Windows 7 or Vista users but I still have XP. ![]()
